One of the oldest and most respected golf clubs in the Philippines, Valley Golf and Country Club was established in 1958 and opened its South Course in 1961 — designed by Australian architect Jas H. Scott. Located in the rolling hills of Antipolo, Rizal, the club features two 18-hole championship courses across 70 hectares of forested terrain. The South Course at 6,988 yards par 72 is considered one of the most beautiful and challenging layouts in the country, with narrow tree-lined fairways of mahogany, flame trees and acacia providing a natural setting that few courses can match. The North Course added in 1989 is shorter but deceptively difficult on hilly terrain. Valley Golf has hosted the Philippine Open in 1975, 1983, 1991 and 2010, as well as the XVI SEA Games Golf Championship in 1991. A true classic of Philippine golf.
