One of the most spectacular golf courses in the Philippines, Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club is set at elevation above Tagaytay City with panoramic views of Taal Volcano and Lake Taal below. Designed by American architect Richard Bigler and opened in 1995, the 18-hole par 70 championship course is built on an 89-hectare slope characterised by dramatic elevation changes, tight fairways and challenging terrain. The course features the Philippines’ first and only cable car system — a gondola trolley that transports golfers from the 9th and 18th holes back to the 1st and 10th tees. The 13th tee sits 84 metres above the green, and the combination of hilly terrain, wind, fog and uphill play makes this one of the most mentally demanding courses in the country. Tifton 419 fairways and Tifdwarf greens. Magnificent views of Taal Lake, Mt Makiling and Mt Banahaw. A genuine must-play in Philippine golf. Members only — access via member invitation or GolfPH.
