An extraordinary golf destination in Antipolo, Rizal, Forest Hills Golf and Country Club was voted Best Golf Course in the World in 2000 by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America — the only Philippine course to receive this distinction. Situated 1,000 feet above sea level in the Sierra Madre foothills, the club features two championship courses designed by the two greatest names in golf. The Nicklaus Course is a par 71, 7,102-yard layout designed by Jack Nicklaus Jr. with a slope rating of 138 and panoramic views of the Ortigas skyline — a challenging all-weather course where only 3 of its 11 par 4s are under 400 yards. The Palmer Course designed by Arnold Palmer offers an equally challenging layout at a higher elevation. Both courses use Tifway 419 fairways and Tifdwarf greens. Forest Hills is also home to thousands of indigenous birds as part of a dedicated wildlife conservation effort. The only club in the Philippines with courses designed by both Nicklaus and Palmer.
